From all of us: Thank you.
Thanks to the support of 85 alumni, we raised $33,000 in 25 days. See the results here: Masthead Madness. We also won the College Media Madness competition,finishing #1 in the country. We are so excited to add to the DP’s trophy case of journalism, advertising and marketing awards, and bring home our first national title for fundraising!
All made possible by the generosity and enthusiasm of the DPAA. As one of the student leaders on the newly formed Development team, I’m so grateful that we’re able to create and execute projects like Masthead Madness, Giving Tuesday, and the DPAA Beat, because we are learning firsthand how generous and committed you are. We are grateful that we can connect with you and work closely with you to address our needs.
My fellow Development team members and I are determined to raise the funds needed to keep the DP operating at a high level and to ensure it remains one of the leading student editorial experiences available. And, we will continue to share the storyteller’s story and the stories of our past—your stories.
Our team is only getting started and we can’t wait to begin to meet and speak with you all.
